The surface temperature of objects is monitored with an infrared camera

In addition to construction thermography and use in industry, corresponding thermal images are also used consistently, for instance, in manufacturing as well as warehousing. Thus, using a camera of this type you can permanently monitor the storage temperature or, for instance, measure the respective surface temperature of delivered goods in goods receipt. Particularly with a view to temperature-sensitive products, this is an immensely important scenario, with non-contact measurement proving to be a major advantage here as well. Thanks to this property, the surface temperature of live or moving parts can be documented by means of thermal images as well. Furthermore, both the veterinary medical profession and the fire brigade use an infrared camera of this type.
User-friendliness in focus
An infrared camera should also be user-friendly. Additionally, the infrared camera should be characterised by a robust design, ensure easy-to-understand menu navigation and possess a high level of functionality. Moreover, the corresponding thermal images must possess high quality, as only then can a permanently optimal assessment of the photographs in addition to an accurate error or deficiency diagnosis take place. Also an extremely important criterion is the respective resolution of the thermal sensor. In building diagnostics in particular, a camera with a higher resolution is generally used, while, for example, in the examination of technical heating installations or the maintenance of solar installations only a low resolution is required. However, you can generally assume that a high thermal resolution is essential, especially for electronics tests.
